Salathia Johnson

Salathia Johnson is the Program Manager of Housing Counseling at Virginia Supportive Housing. She has been with the agency for the past 15 years. She is a Certified Housing Counselor through the Virginia Association of Housing Counselors and Neighborworks.

She has a Master’s degree in Community and Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is also a graduate of two VCU Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute programs, Higher Ground and the Minority Political Leadership Institute (MPLI).

Salathia has expertise in providing credit and debt management counseling, financial coaching, homeownership counseling/education, rental counseling and financial literacy education. She also has extensive experience in program development, implementation and evaluation of several federal programs administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Veterans Administration (VA).
