Putting Powerful Program Metrics to Purpose

Both for-profit and nonprofit organizations compete in four areas: clients/customers, funding and financial resources, human resources, and media attention. Demand for funds has become increasingly intense in recent years due to limited funding from private and government sources, decreased contributions from benefactors, and increased operational costs.  The ability of organizations to collect and measure meaningful data through program evaluation is essential to compete for funding.  This course is about using your program results more effectively, not just filling in the blanks for grant reports! Focuses will include highlighting particular programs or areas of effectiveness that can help you leverage additional support and assist in sustaining your programs and creating effective presentations to portray evaluation findings for pertinent audiences, such as potential funders, community partners, and the board.
