Navigating Government Grants

Applying for and managing a state or federal grant can be intimidating. This course is for those who have some experience with grants, but need more guidance on navigating government grants, from prospect research to close-out, and everything in between. Students taking this interactive course will learn about: how to use government-wide databases for prospecting and applying; the differences between foundation or local grants and state and federal grants; grant regulations, including the new Uniform Guidance; how to manage a government grant; and how to effectively report to and communicate with funders.
