Grant Writing II

Successful grant writing requires that a factual, convincing case be made regarding an agency's ability to deliver a program to serve its client's needs. This class focuses on the elements of a successful grant proposal. Participants will be introduced to techniques for writing persuasive grant proposals section by section, responding to the requirements of each unique funding source. You will learn to locate appropriate sources of funding, the proposal planning process, how to develop accurate budgets, provide for project continuation beyond the granting period, build relationships with funders.
